![]() ![]() Q: Are there any command-line parameters available when running Stinger?Ī: Yes, the command-line parameters are displayed by going to the help menu within Stinger. ![]() Q: Where are the Quarantine files stored?Ī: The quarantine files are stored under C:\Quarantine\Stinger. Within Stinger, navigate to the log TAB and the logs are displayed as list with time stamp, clicking on the log file name opens the file in the HTML format. Q: Where is the scan log saved and how can I view them?Ī: By default the log file is saved from where Stinger.exe is run. It is only designed to detect and remove specific threats. Why is this?Ī: Stinger is not a substitute for a full anti-virus scanner. Q: I know I have a virus, but Stinger did not detect one. If you select "High" or "Very High," McAfee Labs recommends that you set the "On threat detection" action to "Report" only for the first scan. Stinger leverages GTI File Reputation and runs network heuristics at Medium level by default.By default, Stinger will repair any infected files it finds.Click the Scan button to begin scanning the specified drives/directories.Stinger has the capability to scan targets of Rootkits, which is not enabled by default. If necessary, click the "Customize my scan" link to add additional drives/directories to your scan. By default, Stinger scans for running processes, loaded modules, registry, WMI and directory locations known to be used by malware on a machine to keep scan times minimal. The Stinger interface will be displayed. When the download is complete, navigate to the folder that contains the downloaded Stinger file, and run it.When prompted, choose to save the file to a convenient location on your hard disk, such as your Desktop folder.Download the latest version of Stinger.McAfee Stinger now detects and removes GameOver Zeus and CryptoLocker. It detects and removes threats identified under the "Threat List" option under Advanced menu options in the Stinger application. Stinger utilizes next-generation scan technology, including rootkit scanning, and scan performance optimizations. It’s not a substitute for full antivirus protection, but a specialized tool to assist administrators and users when dealing with infected system. McAfee Stinger is a standalone utility used to detect and remove specific viruses. ![]()

![]() 2500 PDI hydraulic hose solves the vibration isolation problem for a tenth the price of the exposed wire braid line. I had an isolation (compressor to hard line) problem that I solved with hydraulic hose instead of the really expensive stainless wire braided connection. If I need lots of air (sandblasting or multple uses) the other compressor kicks in and makes up the CFM needed. I run 2 compressors, one set just a bit higher on cut off/cut iin pressure so if my air consumption is lower (say blowing chips), onlly one compressor kicks in. I also have an automatic condensate drain (electric timed) on the receiver drain on the compressor bank. Probably the best thing I bought was the IR refrigerated dryer but I bet one could easily be made from a compact referigerator plus you'd have a place for your beverages that the IR don't have. Reason being, a smaller unit cycles more and the more the unit cycles, the hotter the compressed air in the receiver becomes and the more condensation you get. Maybe I'm all wet here (pun) but I'd think that rather than using a smaller (CFM) delivery compressor would increase the problem over a larger unit with a larger receiver. You want the air to cool so that the water will condense, collect at a low spot and then be drained off. This will work without the fridge, just not as well. If you’re using quite a bit of air, it may not have. It cools down when it enters the tank and tends to dump the moisture as it cools. The moisture comes because the air coming out of the compressor is pretty hota couple of hundred degrees isn’t unusual. Water that condenses in the pipe will run down the coil and collect in the down pipe. It’s a good idea to have an electric automatic drain in the bottom of your tank. On the output side, there will be a vertical 'T' with a drain valve at the end of a water collecting pipe going down and the air going up. There will be quick disconnects at each end. Feed compressor air (hot) into the top one and pass through a coil of copper to the bottom one. ![]() I plan to poke holes in the side of the unit, one high and one low. The shop air runs through another 25' before being plugged into that filter, which is connected to the cutter.ĭon't throw away the idea of a dorm-sized frig. ![]() The plasma cutter is on a roller tray with another Motorguard filter mounted to it. My temporary (forever) solution is to put 25' of air hose between the compressor and the water trap, which is connected to a Motorguard filter. Just keep in mind that the water in the air will condense at cool temperatures. ![]() ![]() ![]() The agency has a team of in-house copywriters and creatives who will create persuasive copy and design that aligns with your brand identity and resonates with your audience. ![]() Additionally, discounts are available for multi-user and enterprise subscriptions. ![]() ![]() Light-weight two-hand circlip pliers help to move the rings to the right place with little effort and with the help of a special locking mechanism. Speaking of large: With circlips over 140 mm in diameter, the actuating forces for one-hand pliers are too great. Retaining ring pliers - or snap ring pliers - feature. As the thin working tips are sensitive to overloading, the largest possible pliers for the existing ring should always be used. Retaining ring tools aid with the installation and removal of specific types of retaining rings. In order to give you the best possible orientation, the permissible ring diameters are printed on all circlip pliers from KNIPEX. When dealing with circlips, one thing must be noted: The size of the ring and the size of the circlip pliers must always be coordinated. You see: No matter which pliers are required when installing or removing circlips: With 80 different circlip pliers, KNIPEX always has an answer! For retaining rings with straight flanks in the separating slot, we again offer special pliers with a corrugated, non-slip outer surface that ensure that you have the expansion of the external ring under control at all times. With the help of this hole, the tips can be gripped safely and the ring can be moved to the intended location. These ends are made to fit a wide variety of notch sizes. The tool simplifies field disassembly and is available in four standard ends: small-straight, small-90 bend, large-straight, and large 90. The special feature of retaining ring pliers: a narrow surface with a centered hole. The Spirolox Retaining Ring Removal Tool effectively eliminates slipping since the tool surrounds and encapsulates the removal notch. Retaining rings are a slim design version of circlips - they taper at the opening and are gripped there. Last but not least, retaining ring pliers complete the range of circlip pliers from KNIPEX. The first choice for working with grip rings should be our circlip pliers for grip rings. These hold onto the shaft with pure gripping force and are therefore assembled or disassembled with a modified form of circlip pliers for external rings. Operates both internal and external rings Heat treated chromium-molybdenum steel Comfortable insulated vinyl handles. There are special forms of circlips on the market. ![]() |
